Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-color-chooser

I installed and enabled RGBA transparency according to the tutorial on http://www.webupd8.org/2010/05/enable-rgba-transparency-in-ubuntu-910.html.

After 2 days, everything is beautiful, except that I can't turn off the transparency. I was unchecking the Global section, as well as the "Enable/Disable RGBA support" in the preferences for the Global section with Murrine engine several times and nothing works. After hitting Apply, it stays disabled in the program, but the transparency will be present at the next boot!

I have managed to disable transparency by uninstalling some of the packages, but I believe that unchecking the Enable/Disable button should be enough to do it.

Thanx

But even after disabling transparency, some programs have been left transparent:

System Monitor
GnoMenu
Gloobus-preview
