Can't install gstreamer0.10-fluendo mp3 plugin from the interface

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

The first time I have to play an mp3 file, the search codec window pops up, with three packages (gstreamer ffmpeg, fluendo mp3, plugins ugly).

If I check only the ffmpeg, the installation can proceed.
If I check only the fluendo mp3 though, when I click on 'Next', nothing happens, so I can't really install it.

I reproduced this problem every time I tried.

Confirmed this behavior. Started rhythmbox from the terminal, but I don't see any messages outputted when clicking 'Install' button with just fluendo selected. I also don't see any related messages in .xsession-errors

I changed the package because the issue seems to a general one with the codec installer and not just rbox (totem also exhbits the same behavior when trying to play an .mp3 file and using the codec installer).

Just a note: even enabling "partner" repository before trying do install fluendo mp3 plugin is uneffective.
