Bug Description

on fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04

Window titled (raw translation from French by me) "Confirm the install of restricted software":
inside everything is in English instead of French

Installation de greffons multimedia (fenetre apparaissant lorsqu'on essaye de lire un MP3 pour la 1ere fois): lorsqu'on clique sur "installer", une nouvelle fenetre intitulée "Confirmer l'installation des logiciels restreints" apparait. Elle est entierement en anglais:
"The use of this software may be restricted in some countries. You must verify that one of the following is true:
-these restrictions do not apply in your country of legal residence
-you have permission to use this software (for example, a patent license)
-you are using this software for research purpose only"

description: updated

gnome-app install and gnome-codec-install are fully translated in French :
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/jaunty/+source/gnome-codec-install
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/jaunty/+source/gnome-app-install

If you have the latest language-packs (i.e. language-pack-gnome-fr-base-9.04+20090413) this is not a translation issue.

Changed in ubuntu:
status: New → Incomplete

We need to know if this issue occurs with other languages

affects: ubuntu → gnome-codec-install (Ubuntu)
Changed in gnome-codec-install (Ubuntu):
