Problem does not depend from kernel 6.9, but is the same with standard 24.04 kernel 6.8.0-31-generic

This happens with nl_NL.UTF-8 for me as well. The period is no longer converted to a comma, as it used to be in older gnome-calculator releases.

This seems to be the upstream bug: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-calculator/-/issues/403
