Bug Description

The size is fixed, and I can not reduce the size of the calculator. it takes up the entire screen. The buttons are nearly 2 square inches on my 23" monitor. I think it is a theme issue, because it appears in the video player, and in the nautilus backwards, and forwards buttons, but does not occur in Nemo.

I thought the culprit might be the "adwaita" theme full set inclusion into the library. I will report back if anything changes.

I wanted to report video because the buttons were also too large, as it is also in Nautilus.

Installing the "adwaita" theme's full set library did not work. The buttons are still way too big.

Thank you for your bug report. The calculator you are using doesn't seem to be gnome-calculator? What icon theme do you use? Could you try with the Ubuntu one to see if you get the same issue?

I typed in gnome-calculator and it came up. Sorry, but there is no deviation except of icon package. The icons I am using are FS-icons-ubuntu icons. I did change the icon set to ubuntu-mono-light, and it did return the calculator to a normal size, but I liked the icon theme, so I researched the creator, and whomever might maintain it's packages, and found a thread where someone else was having the same problem.

They posted the fix here: http://franksouza183.deviantart.com/art/FS-Icons-Ubuntu-288407674

To correct this problem, execute the following command after installing FS Icons:

$ sudo sed -i "s|MinSize=|MinSize=8\n#MinSize=|g" /usr/share/icons/fs-icons-ubuntu*/index.theme

It worked! :) Thank you!
