Wrong memory allocated to the machine

Using gnome-boxes 44 on Ubuntu Lunar

download https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/pending/lunar-desktop-amd64.iso

gnome-boxes lunar-desktop-amd64.iso
change the memory value to 5.1G (either selecting/replacing the current value or clicking on +)
click 'create'
start the installer, ctrl-alt-t, check top -> the VM has 2G of memory

~/.config/libvirt/qemu/boxes-unknown.xml
has

  <memory unit='KiB'>5347737</memory>
  <currentMemory unit='KiB'>2097152</currentMemory>
