Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-bluetooth

I recently purchased an LG Cosmos Touch. It failed to pair with my Ubuntu system. Bluetooth paring works with other phones and the LG Cosmos Touch pairs with other devices. The setup is as follows:

Start the bluetooth wizard, the first dialog is:
Introduction <Click Forward>
Device Search
I enable the phone to be detected and it is detected
Select phone and click forward
Device setup page shows pin
Enter PIN into phone
At this point the phone thinks it has paired and asked wiether or not to always connect
However, the bluetooth wizard does nothing and eventually times out with a device setup failed dialog.

If you point me to some logging to enable I can provide more information.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed. You can find out more about it at http://www.ubuntu.com/download . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.
