bluetooth-properties hangs with 100% CPU when trying to open preferences

When clicking on Preferences in Bluetooth Systray icon, nothing happens, and bluetooth-properties hangs at 100% CPU activity (waited > 10 minutes)

Running bluetooth-properties from console shows this:

(bluetooth-properties:4669): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed

Attached is also a backtrace at the point where the program hangs.
