Indeed, the attached file RfKill.txt shows the kernel doesn't support the Bluetooth chip, or doesn't know it exists.

Actually I can't see any information suggesting even an unsupported chip is detected. How do you know a BCM2070 is installed?

I have contacted Asus support-service center through question form, as I was unser myself (https://www.asus.com/support/Product/ContactUs/Services/questionform/?lang=en-us)

and they gave me this short answer via email, after few days: "Yes, there is BLUETOOTH 2.1 BCM2070 MODULE."

Also, if I'm not mistaken, this same Asus Laptop had Linux Mint 18 installed, and with some effort of installing blueman it was possible to connect a wireless bluetooth mouse. But I'm still unsure if that was the same laptop. That's why I contacted the Asus support and provided Laptop Serial number just to make sure.

Thanks. I still can't see any trace of any Bluetooth hardware installed in your machine, according to the attached files.

Maybe a kernel engineer would have a better idea than me...

BCM2070 is a USB device but it's not listed in lsusb.

It appears the kernel can't detect any Bluetooth adapter plugged into the USB bus.

This might be a hardware fault, or it might be a kernel (USB) bug.
