Art manager cannot run

My computer spec
Intel i386 Pentium 4 socket 478 2.4 Ghz
geforce 6800xt
sound card creative sound blaster live
distribution: ubuntu 8.04

problem:
Hi the art manager under system and preference
on my system is not working "no respond after i click on it". Please check it. thanks

If I try to run gnome-art in a terminal window this is the output:

I, too, have the same issue. Art Manager simply does not start up after converting to 8.04 Ubuntu (Gnome 2.22).
