Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-applets
When I click on the Invest applet, it shows the information from the applet in a popup window over the desktop coming down from the applet icon. When I click again on the applet icon to hide the popup, the popup disappears but leaves a border on the desktop background where the popup was. The border disappears when removing the Invest applet. If the applet is moved to a different location on the panel and is clicked, the border will disappear and reappear in the new location of the applet.
A screenshot of the border showing is attached.

I found an issue with the window hint in the investment list window. For an unknown reason when using the WINDOW_ TYPE_HINT_ DOCK hint the window manager leaves a frame shadow after the investment list window is closed. Changing the hint to WINDOW_ TYPE_HINT_ TOOLBAR resolves this issue.
