After fresh install of Dapper Flight 6, two battery applets are displayed

Bug Description

I have just installed Dapper Flight 6 (and fully updated it) with no home directory (clean install).

I now have two battery applets; Gnome-Power-Manager and the old Gnome battery status monitor. Obviously I can just remove the old one, but it is a little unclean. The only 'applet' (I know that GPM isn't technically an applet...) should be that of GPM if that is installed by default.

This is what my top-right corner looked like immediately after install.
