Bug Description
When keyboard indicator is included in a vertical panel in gnome, it displays the selected layout text (USA, Afg, whatever) in vertical orientation, while other applets show in horizontal orientation.
I would exepect the text to appear in horizontal orientation too.

I'm using ubuntu 9.04 updated to latest:
gnome version: 2.26.1, distribution: ubuntu, build date: 04/14/2009
