Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-applets

the multiload applet always shows zero disk activity when most of the partitions are on lvm2 logical volumes. When external "real" disks like usb thumbdrives are inserted though, the disk I/O activity is correctly shown.
I'm on Jaunty, kernel version 2.6.28-11, Gnome 2.26.1. But I've seen this bug since Intrepid (That was when I started using LVM)

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
ExecutablePath: /usr/lib/gnome-applets/multiload-applet-2
Package: gnome-applets 2.26.0-0ubuntu4
ProcEnviron:
 LANG=en_US.UTF-8
 PATH=(custom, user)
 SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: gnome-applets
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic i686

@pedro I'm not sure if my bug description was understood: so I was talking about the gnome applet. I don't know of a way to let gnome-system-monitor display disk activities. It only shows percentage used on mounted partitions.
BTW what does the "incomplete" status mean?
