Setting status to "confirmed" since it also happens on an other computer. But this time, the privilege elevation (allow the user to change CPU frequency) has already been done before, so this bug has nothing to do at least with "first time" privilege elevation.

I have the sampe problem. It is stuck on 800MHz. It has crashed one or two times when I was trying to set it to "Performance" or one of the other settings, but now it just ignore every attempt to change anything.

I still have the problem,
I use
cpufreq-selector -g performance
to select the correct performance governor. Of course we wait for the
bug to be fixed
