Bug Description
The text for CPU % or MHz on system tray area for CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor 2.24.1 stays black, all of the other gnome panel fonts are white because I have a dark panel, background. My computer is a Sony FW 290, Ibex, 2.6.27-9-generic i686. I've included my .gtkrc-2.0 file.

I can reproduce this on updated Jaunty with a default Ubuntu theme (Dust Sand). This makes the applet unusable.
I attach 2 screenshots, one with the default theme background and the other with a changed background, so you can see the color it uses.
