Bug Description

The icons in cpufreq-applet look *really* outdated and just feel wrong against the whole desktop.

A set of "tangoish" icons exist for this applet, that makes it look much better, see (italian):

Some time ago i made a patch that makes possible to override the cpufreq-applet icons via an icon theme, actually it makes the applet follow the Gnome Icon theme specification, so the makers can define consistent icons.
The Bug and the patch is here https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=597528.
