weather report provide predefined radar maps

Please provide (overridable) URLs for radar maps in weather report applet per location.

E.g. for Netherlands this could be http://213.136.5.40/hws/radarani16.gif (also for all its sublocations).

Note that the URLs can be inherited from a parent location. Because some countries are very small, one URL per country is enough. While for big countries an URL per leaf location is more appropriate.

I don't know when it was added, but in Lucid (Weather Report 2.30.0) I have a weather radar map for Boulder CO US form weather.com.

The link I proposed for the Netherlands should be updated to:
  http://gratisweerdata.buienradar.nl/radar.php

The major difference with maps from weather.com, is that these local maps have more recent data in terms of history and prediction. Most people use these maps via a website and although these maps are freely available from the national weather service, the websites make it difficult to use the image only (because they wnat you to go to the site and look at commercials). Or at least they do not offer a direct link to the image.

Hence my request, if these links are available in Ubuntu weather applet, more people will use the weather applet since it is easy to select a map.

Of course these hints of suggested URL should be checked (semi-automatically) for each release if they still exist and contributors will have to be asked to update the link when it is no longer valid.
