Bug Description

Due to the main->universe transition of the policykit-gnome and gnome-app-install packages, both applications shows untranslated now, because the PolicyKit-gnome.mo and gnome-app-install.mo files are missing in /usr/share/locale/ directory.

Due to this issue, "Authorizations" and "Add/Remove Applications" from System->Administration are shown untranslated in my Spanish desktop.

To fix that, we need to include all the translations .mo files into the policykit-gnome and gnome-app-install packages for all languages, as the other universe packages.

Thanks for the info, Sebastien.

What about including the translations into policykit-gnome and gnome-app-install packages, so the .mo files lays inside /usr/share/locale/ directory, like the other universe packages? That way, the translation efforts will still be useful for that two applications.

Not a langpack bug. PolicyKit-gnome and gnome-app-install are now into Universe, so its translations should be included in the package itself.

The policykit-gnome package contains translations in Lucid, but not in Karmic - I guess we can live with this, marking bug as fix released.
