Binary package hint: gnome-app-install

Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 beta i386, updated 2009-04-04 / German language

$ apt-cache policy gnome-app-install
gnome-app-install:

Because of the update the computer was fresh booted.

I did want to add some programs, Thunderbird, Java, ...

Opened over the main menu "Add / Remove Program" (in german: Hinzufügen / Entfernen ...)
I first did select Thunderbird,
then select OpenJDK => crash

I just tried it again. This time it did crash not after activating a check
box to choose a program, but after I first did check a program (IDLE) and
then did choose on the left side insted of "Development" (german:
"Entwicklung") "Graphics" (german: "Graphik").

The crash does NOT lead to a complete crash of the program. It ask
afterwards, if you still want to install, and after I clicked "Yes",
installation was done.
