Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-app-install

PC: Lenovo T400

I use mobile broadband with a HUAWEI E180. The mobile broadband is provided by TDC-Mobile (Denmark).

The mobile broadband worked with Ubuntu 8.10. After upgrading to 9.04, I cannot connect anymore.

The modem IS detected by the Network Manager, and I can choose to connect with the profile. But the animated "connect-icon" is just shown for a few seconds. Afterwards it goes back to the not-connected state without any errors. (Fails silently)
