Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-app-install
When you try to install a program from Add/Remove Programs, a dialog comes up (as it should) asking for your password. This dialog says the program that needs the password is Synaptic Package Manager. While that might be techincally correct, a new user might think they were giving their password to a different program. In other words, if a user cannot tell that the name of the program they are giving admin rights to is the program they are using, they will just always give their password, defeating the point of requiring a password in the first place.
Steps to reproduce:
(1) Go to Applications -> Add/Remove...
(2) Install any program and click Apply
(3) When the password dialog comes up, it says it is for Synaptic Package Manager.
