Bug Description
The documentation currently recommends the use of gnome-app-install to install software. This is not possible with some software because gnome-app-install doesn't display it. A popular example is mp3 support and gstreamer-plugins in general. See the work in progress guide here: http://
It would be nice to add a desktop file for gstreamer-plugins (bad/ugly etc) so that they appear in gnome-app-install and it can be used for installing this software too, instead of having to use synaptic to do so.
