Bug Description

When installing and running gnome-app-install I get this error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/gnome-app-install", line 41, in ?
    from AppInstall import AppInstall
  File "/usr/lib/gnome-app-install/AppInstall.py", line 30, in ?
    import gtkmozembed
ImportError: libgtkembedmoz.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory

Installing firefox fixes the problem (although it doesn't look to me like
gnome-app-install is embedded mozilla anywhere I can see).

Thanks for your bugreport.

gnome-app-install uses gtkmozembed to display the package information on the
right hand side. I updated the dependencies and it will be part of the next upload.

Fixed with the upload of:
 gnome-app-install (0+20050926) breezy; urgency=low
 .
   * added locking support
   * added firefox|mozilla-browser to dependencies (for gtkmozembed)
     (ubuntu #16306)
