Bug Description

Browsing through the available packages I spot Best among all the goodies -
think "Nice!", but close the program anyway. A few minutes later I open GAI
again to install Best. - Can't remember where it was placed so I do a search for
"best" but nothing pops up. - Searching for "beagle" shows Best though.

The problem seems to be that GAI only searches descriptions, not the displayed
titles. Likewise a search for "python" pops up as only result Blender... WTF?

BTW: The new improvements to GAI looks rocking in every other respect :-)

Cheers!

PS: Checking an uninstalled proggy and clicking "Apply" doesn't do anything. -
Likewise enabling Universe through the dialog that pops up when trying to select
a non-supported package also does nothing. Is this intentional or should I file
a bug?

Thanks for this bugreport.

The current development tree contains improvments for the search code. It will
be part of the next upload.

Your "p.s." line looks like a bug.

Cheers,
 Michael

Filing a bug on my PS then (http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=14140)...
As another PS I also noticed that clicking on a checkbox in a search result list
takes about ~3 secs (varying) to show a check mark... Should I file a bug on
this as well?

Those bugs should also be fixed now, if not please open a seperate bugreport for
them.
