gnome-app-install (Ubuntu)
Fix Released

Michael Vogt

Bug Description

When I go to Applications->System Tools->Add/Remove Programs, I enter my user
password, then the window opens up, but it is completely empty. The mouse cursor
is constantly in the "hour glass" state, so maybe it's waiting for something
before loading all the icons/entries, but even if I sit there 3 minutes, nothing
will happen, it remains blank. I can still click on the "Close" button, though,
the GUI remains responsive.

I ran 'gnome-app-install' from the command line, I get these messages/errors :

vincent@Lotus-Esprit:~$ gnome-app-install

    import locale ; menu.setLocale(locale.getlocale(locale.LC_MESSAGES)[0])
AttributeError: Menu instance has no attribute 'setLocale'

Looks like a Locale problem ? I don't know what wrong, I installed Colony #2
with English language and French K/B layout from the start, and never messed up
with languages or layouts after the install.
