gnome-app-install should check if the app install is actually possible with a "trivial" operation

Bug Description

I use Evince instead of xpdf for reading .pdf files. So I start "Applications ->
System Tools -> Add/Remove Programs". Unselect "Office - xpdf".

There is not warning about uninstalling cupsys packages (cupsys,
cupsys-driver-gimprint, ...) too while uninstalling xpdf. After uninstalling
xpdf I unexpectedly lost printing functionality!

IMHO uninstalling xpdf should not uninstall cupsys, it's mistaken dependency.
Xpdf is not GTK2 application, so it will not be the default apliication for
reading PDF files in GNOME in future (for example after mature Evince, gpdf) and
maybe will be removed from distribution.

maybe gnome-app-install should display something before removing a bunch of
packages like this?

Thanks for your bugreport.

There are two issues here:
a) the desktop files in gnome-app-install needs a update
b) gnome-app-install needs a way to tell the user if removal of a package
is needed in order to install a new app (this is possible now with the
   improvments in python-apt)

Just a quick update.

The recent upload of gnome-app-install updated the desktop files. Please let us
know if you notice anything odd/wrong here. About the other issue, this is
something we are working on right now.

Cheers,
 michael
