It's actually going to be in the top level applications menu, but yes, it does
need moving. :_)

It has been moved as of the Aug 10th version

It has been moved to the incorrect location. It should be moved to the root of
the Applications menu, when we believe it's 100% ready for full user exposure.

How do people think about this now? Should we move the new version to the root
of the applications menu?

Seems to be good enough for that now

Yes! One thing though: if I have my menu on the lower side of the screen, I
wouldn't want this to be the first thing my mouse moves over when I open the
menu. I don't know if it would be technically possible to adjust its position to
be on top/bottom depending on the taskbars position?

This change was reverted because it makes the menu overly large in many
translations.
