Soundcard: Realtek ALC660-VD
gnome-alsamixer 0.9.7
option: Input source
in alsamixer it is correctly shown as selection between four sources
in gnome-alsamixer this option appears as boolean checkbox

That's quite old; report with newer active version if needed
