Looks like a missing codecs issue. Make sure that you have also installed gstreamer0.10-plugins-base, gstreamer0.10-plugins-good, gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad and gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly, in addition to gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg.

The Youtube error is probably a separate issue which can be worked around in gnash 0.8.7 by deleting your YouTube cookies and then blocking cookies from YouTube. Or you can install the newly released gnash 0.8.8 which has fixed this issue and claims 100% YouTube compatability. See http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=ODUzOQ for more info.
