Visual artifacts in YouTube UI

I'm able to play a variety of videos on YouTube out of the box, which is excellent. However, in all cases, the UI seems slightly misaligned. The volume control slider is placed on top of the adjacent controls, and it isn't responsive to clicks. See attached screenshot.

Yes, i can confirm this. (using Firefox 3 a5 with Gutsy.)

I have exactly the same on www.yoiutube.com, but on video.stumbleupon.com the artifact is worse:
- control menu is vertical misaligned in the middle of the movie
- a white area shows at the right and bottom

That looks to be the proper upstream bug report. Also, marking as confirmed due to user comments.

Also when there are overlays like text or links the video is just black and i only hear the sound.
