Bug Description

Binary package hint: gmusicbrowser

The large "Listen to Music" button in the Unity dash can be configured through "Preferred Applications". But gmusicplayer doesn't show up in it.

I investigated a bit, and it seems /usr/share/gnome-control-center/default-apps/gnome-default-applications.xml lists usable candidates. I'm guessing Banshee maintainers would know how to make something appear there. I think it would be very nice as typing "gmusicbrowser" is not so obvious. Personally I keep thinking gmusicplayer for some reason and this is tedious to probe and correct in the entry.

I confirm this bug, I have Gmusicbrowser installed and also use it as default music player, but it is not listed in the "Preferred Applications" window...

I found this page : http://live.gnome.org/ControlCenter/AddingDefaultApplications that explains how to add apps to the list, I guess I'll create the file and add it to gmusicbrowser.
