Bug Description
Binary package hint: gmpc
The 'browse filesystem' thing assumes filenames are ISO 8859-1, though and song titles, artist names etc. obtained from MPD are correctly interpreted as UTF-8. For example "Röyksopp" is interpreted as "Röyksopp".

Never mind. mpc wasn't correctly configured to interpret filenames as UTF-8. However I now have a bug to file on mpd :)
