Bug Description

Binary package hint: glom

Glom 1.8.2
Ubuntu 8.10

1) Is there a way arrange data in Reports?
Try to arrange data in "List view" first, then make the report, but don't work.
Any other idea?

2) In Reports, a way to change the display format of boolean data?
Currently shows TRUE/FALSE

I don't understand. You choose the fields when editing the report. Are you just talking about sort order?

1) Yes, just the sort order (for example A>Z)

When I print a report from "List view" with all records can't find a way
to have them sorted.
Is posible to select a field for order them (for example by field name)?

2) Print boolean data like a square with a tick instead TRUE/FALSE?

For me, at least with svn trunk, if I sort the records in the list view, they are then shown in that order when I print a report.

Not for me. Attach a capture.

Create a new database.
In "list view" under Description field enter BBBB for the first record,
AAAA for the second record and CCCC for the last record.
Click on Description for sort, so have AAAA, BBBB and CCCC
Go File, Print and have BBBB, AAAA, CCCC instead of AAAA, BBBB and CCCC

The correction for your bug #303422 fixed this too, so I have applied to the 1.8 branch too.

We'd have to think about how to show this in HTML. However, we are not likely to do much work on the exisiting reports system, because we hope to eventually replace it with the new print layouts system. Please file a separate bug about that if it's important to you, ideally in bugzilla.

Thanks.

Not important, just an improvement.
