Bug Description

Binary package hint: glipper

The Glipper panel applet is crashing at the desktop boot with a generic message "The panel encountered an error while loading OAFIID:Glipper".
I've answered to remove the applet from the desktop and now I'm not able to add it again even after a re-installation of the applet package.
I'm attaching a screen snapshot.

The core file is dumped by the gnome-panel not by the glipper applet.

As reported, when trying to add the applet to the panel, nothing happens.
I've discovered that there is a core file in my home and it gets generated whenever I try to add the applet.
I hope it will help and I enclose it here.
