Copy&Paste does not work

Copy&Paste is not working properly on Impress. If I copy&paste simple text, it works fine, but when I copy other kinds of objects (rectangles, elipses, arrows, etc.), it does not. What happens is that it pastes the last _text_ I copied, not the last object.

Some additional info:

I perceived that, when a copy&paste very fast (I mean, pressing Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V very, very fast) it works. But when I press Ctrl-C and only press Ctrl-V after some time, it doesn't.

I could not reproduce this issue on up to date Ubuntu 7.04. How long did you have to wait for it to not paste the object you copied? I did notice that when I copy/paste it pastes the copied object onto the top of the object copied so it may be that you didn't notice it actually pasted it?

Are you still able to reproduce the issue with up to date Ubuntu 7.04?

As I said, it pastes something (the last *text* copied), not the last object. I'm sure it doesn't paste the copied object on top of the original.

I have "glipper" running on my desktop (started on gnome sessions). Well, I just happen to have stopped glipper, and now copy&paste seems to be working fine...
I started it again manually, and copy&paste is still working.
I hope that helps.

I restarted it and it worked fine. I restarted it agin and it didn't work.

Copying and pasting text works fine but if I copy text and then copy an image the text that I copied is pasted and not the image. Also there is no reference in the history to the image.

I have changed the status of this bug to confirmed.
