Bug Description

Binary package hint: libc6

Update of libc6 from 2.4-1ubuntu12 to 2.4-1ubuntu12.3 failed with "Segmentation fault".
After some debugging i found the problem:
Ive changed interpreter of /var/lib/dpkg/info/libc6.postinst from "/bin/sh" to "/bin/bash", then i had following result:

$ sudo dpkg --debug=3773 --configure -a
...
Richte libc6 ein (2.4-1ubuntu12.3) ...
D000002: fork/exec /var/lib/dpkg/info/libc6.postinst ( configure 2.4-1ubuntu12 )
/var/lib/dpkg/info/libc6.postinst: line 365: 9202 Segmentation fault iconvconfig
dpkg: Fehler beim Bearbeiten von libc6 (--configure):
 Unterprozess post-installation script gab den Fehlerwert 139 zurück
...

Ive commented out line 364 and "sudo dpkg --configure -a" fixed my Problem.

Oh... iam on libc6 2.7 now... dont know, would have to downgrade to test it. But does it matter at all now? Nobody needs that anymore i think ;-)
