Bug Description

When trying to start nscd, it prints the following error:

root@cladmr003:/lib# /etc/init.d/nscd start
 * Starting Name Service Cache Daemon nscd
/usr/sbin/nscd: relocation error: /usr/sbin/nscd: symbol __nss_services_lookup,
version GLIBC_PRIVATE not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference
   ...fail!

It is so because the __nss_services_lookup has been replaced by __nss_services_lookup2 in libc-2.8.90.so.

The versions of nscd and libc are:

nscd 2.7-10ubuntu6
libc6 2.8~20080505-0
