Currently glibc 2.34 is in the jammy archives:
 glibc | 2.34-0ubuntu3 | jammy | source
 libc6 | 2.34-0ubuntu3 | jammy | s390x
Hence I'm closing this ticket based on this already.

But it's planned to update glibc for jammy even to 2.35:

Re-opening bug to add another patch:

After IBM z16 has been announced, we can also commit the remaining glibc patch to add the new s390 platform.

closing this bug as glibc 2.35 was included and shipped with jammy / 22.04.

The post-GA part of adding IBM z16 as s390 platform is being handled in this separate new bugzilla / launchpad item:
