libc segfault

libc segfaulting - none of the other bug reports matched my issue.

May 29 10:13:16 casa kernel: [68505.299318] VirtualBox[4036]: segfault at 4424fcb0 ip 00007ff88e151c7d sp 00007ffc28fb4380 error 4 in libc-2.21.so[7ff88e118000+1c0000]

I was browsing the internet(chrome). VirtualBox VM was loaded in background, not actively being used.
Screenshot would not help, it segfaults, kills gnome session and I am back at login screen, with DATA LOSS to all running programs

please fix this. Thank you

I expected my session not to crash, and I expected not to lose data

My session crash unexpectedly, and I lost data when it did
