Bug Description

After changing password of an account which didn't have a password before, gdm doesn't start anymore due to segmentation fault in libnss_compat-2.15.so. Extract from /var/log/syslog:

which probably happend after changing the password.

I'm using Ubuntu precise and I associated the bug with the package libc6 because it provides libnss_compat-2.15.so.
