[Natty] New glib2.0_2.27.90-0ubuntu1 crashes gnome-panels

After the recent upgrade of glib2.0_2.27.5-0ubuntu1 to the newest version 2.27.90-0ubuntu1 all the Gnome2 panels crash each time any launcher applet is clicked. Panels do come back after a second or so.
This crashing also removes the metacity compositing each time.

This can be reproduced every time.

I have Nvidia 285GTX graphics card and I am using stable Nvidia-current_260.19.29 drivers.
This is Natty 64-bit architecture.

Workaround: downgrade the glib2.0 version 2.27.90 to 2.27.5.

Confirmed that rolling back glib2.0 worked for me:

    sudo apt-get install libglib2.0-0=2.27.5-0ubuntu1 libglib2.0-bin=2.27.5-0ubuntu1 libglib2.0-data=2.27.5-0ubuntu1 libglib2.0-dev=2.27.5-0ubuntu1 libglib2.0-doc=2.27.5-0ubuntu1
