glib2.0-0:i386 breaks installation due to unconfigured libmount1:i386

Bug Description

After running "sudo apt upgrade" and approving the listed packages, the following error occurred after unpacking a number of packages:

dpkg: dependency problems prevent processing triggers for libglib2.0-0:i386:
 libglib2.0-0:i386 depends on libmount1 (>= 2.35.2-7~); however:
  Package libmount1:i386 is not configured yet.

output from "dpkg-reconfigure libmount1:i386":

/usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure: libmount1:i386 is broken or not fully installed

output from "sudo apt install libmount1:i386":

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
libmount1:i386 is already the newest version (2.36.1-8ubuntu2.2).

Workaround for this bug is:
# dpkg --configure -a
# apt --fix-broken install
