Bug Description
Shortly (<=10s) after connecting my [Android] phone via USB, and attempting to type in Thunderbird, my screen froze for roughly two minutes (no input apparently accepted or display updates), and then kicked me out to log in to a new session. (I was also able to ssh into the system while the UI was hung.) The general protection error appeared in dmesg and syslog at [apparently] the time of the UI lock-up.
