Bug Description
glassfish has been removed from Debian and we should proceed with its removal from Cosmic as well, for both source and binaries. It is in cosmic/universe and reverse-depends reports zero packages for depends and build-depends.
$ reverse-depends -r cosmic -l glassfish-
$ reverse-depends -r cosmic -l -b glassfish-
$ reverse-depends -r cosmic -l glassfish-javaee
$ reverse-depends -r cosmic -l -b glassfish-javaee
$ reverse-depends -r cosmic -l glassfish-jmac-api
$ reverse-depends -r cosmic -l -b glassfish-jmac-api
$ reverse-depends -r cosmic -l src:glassfish
$ reverse-depends -r cosmic -l -b src:glassfish
As per Debian's rationale:
Please remove the glassfish package, this decade old version of
the GlassFish Application Server is no longer used and now fails
to build with Java 11. There is no plan to upgrade it to a more
recent version.
[Original description]
Binary package hint: glassfish-javaee
The glassfish application server package(s) is useless. It does NOT provide a JSP application service, at all.
There is no documentation on how to use it, how to start it and all it does is install useless jar files. There is
no startup script (confirmed).
Please shoot the maintainers of this set of packages, delete the packages from the repositories and stop wasting users' time.

I second this. Just spent an hour trying to figure out how to get this running, only to come to the conclusion that you can't, since no binaries are included.
