As identified by Kees Cook on bug 801299, glance should use SSL by default for it's network communication.

I don't think this is something we can do in the package, since there is no documented way to use glance via SSL that I can find.

I really don't think we're ever going to enable SSL by default in the packaging; however its fairly trivial to enable SSL using apache with the glance API.
