doesn't print bold fonts

Bug Description
Binary package hint: glabels
If i set a font to bold under the style tab, the text appears on the screen as bold and I expect the font to appear bold when it is printed.
However it does not print bold, it prints regular font-weight instead.
Using version 2.2.3 in up-to-date Jaunty

This bug is still present in version 2.2.5 in Karmic. But only for some fonts
How to reproduce:
Install Gentium font: apt-get install ttf-sil-gentium
Create new card
Add text to card, selecting font Gentium, font weight normal
Add text to card, selecting font Gentium, font weight bold
Print label to PDF
Open PDF in evince
Expected:
Same font weights in PDF as in gLabels
Seen:
The bold gentium font has been replaced by a normal weight version.
This is confirmed by looking at the font properties of the PDF in Evince:
File -> Properties; Fonts tab
