Bug Description
Binary package hint: gksu
When a gui app asks for my password, the screen darkens, as it should, but then there is no visible password box for me to type my password into. If I type it blind, and don't make any mistakes, it works.
For reference, I'm on Feisty, and I am using Beryl, with the nvidia beta driver. If we think this is more of an issue with that... That's fine. Let me know what info you need.

I think this would be more of an issue with Beryl or the Nvidia drivers; most likely being Beryl. Try switching off Beryl temporarily. If the problem is fixed, it is a problem with Beryl. If it still does not appear, then it is a problem with the beta drivers.
