Bug Description

Binary package hint: gksu

Attempt to launch a GUI administrative app such as Synaptic with current updates for Feisty (not sure when this first appeared).
You will be prompted for a password, and upon entering it, the password will not be accepted - the "Granting Administrative Rights" window will show up in gnome-panel briefly, and then you will be returned to the prompt, "Incorrect Password".

Meanwhile, your password will work for login and cli sudo.

If launched from a command line, this is the output:

anthony@experimental:~$ gksu synaptic
sn_launcher_context_initiate called twice for the same SnLaunchContext

Again, the version info is: Installed: 2.0.0-1ubuntu1, in latest 7.04 "Feisty" (as of 23 November 2006).

It appears today's upload of libgksu2-0 (2.0.3-2ubuntu2) fixes this problem. Thanks Michael.
