Running Karmic x86_64 beta + updates as of Oct 21, 1pm EST. Closed lid, opened it 3 hours later, logged in. Was greeted by this crash.

Thank you for this report. I can not be sure, but this may be a duplicate of bug 182629. Comparing the stacktrace from apport team, they are not the same. I will leave this for the developers to sort through.
